Returning for vaccines on interview date..

My fiance had her medical done on the 14th and 15th. She only required two vaccines and those were the Dtap and MMR; however they were out of the MMR. They gave her the "do not open" envelope and said she can return on the 21st for the MMR shot after her interview. Isn't it going to cause a delay if the MMR is administered after the interview?

I am curious what is the earliest time SLEC opens? I would prefer to get it done prior to the interview rather than risk a delay. Her USEM Interview is 8:10 am. Is it feasible to get it done prior?

Vaccinations are not required for the k1.  If she has the results envelope you are golden

YMMV

Same thing happened to us....They ran out of DTAP. I have a thread about it here)

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

This is true. After I passed the medical exam, I have been given an option either to have my vaccines in the SLEC or here in the US. Of course I just chose to get it in SLEC coz it's already part of the payment. So you don't have to worry about it during the interview.

The reason why they have short supply of MMR coz they prioritize it to kids. Measles has been epidemic to kids now in Philippines

Not an issue.  SLEC completed the medical, your fiancee has her medical file .. all is good.   Get the shot later.  ;)

If my fiance opts to get all of the shots recommended while at SLEC, is there an extra fee for them or is all of that included in the original cost?

All is included in the cost. You would only end up paying more if you opted to wait until you got into the states. I read it becomes an issue in the AOS portion of the journey.
