Travel out of country without receipt notice ?

As long as you return before the card's expiration date, you should be fine w/o the letter. The letter only extends the validity of the green card.

The risk is if something happens and you have to stay out of the country longer. Although somebody could send you the letter, or worst case you could get a boarding foil abroad.

Edit: Also, you need to return to the US for the biometrics appointment.

Yes, you can re-enter the US using your 2yr conditional GC as long as it is unexpired

After the expiry date, you would need either your 2yr expired GC + receipt notice with extension(NOA1) OR I-551 stamp on your passport

Can I call the uscis customer care and ask them to send me another receipt notice ? Also , what if I get the notice about the biometrics appointment while I'm out of the country ?

I would get an info pass appointment and get your passport stamped for proof of status instead of wasting your time calling them to send you another receipt notice.

11/30/2018 Interview Notice for 01/07/2019

01/07/2019: Withdrawn at the interview due to divorce and another 751 filed after the divorce and switched to the waiver case

 

I-751 #2 - March 2017 (Waiver)

April 2017: Bio-metrics completed

01/07/2019: Interview

01/14/2019: Approval Notification via Email

03/15/2019: Had to file I90 since no card was sent

01/28/2020: Card is being produced (I751)
