HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN NOA 2 FOR PETITION I-130 IN THE IR-1 CATAGORY?😟


        N-400 APPLICATION              I-130 PETITON

 

Husband mailed N-400 - September 29th, 2017   

USCIS received N-400 – October 10th, 2017

Petition I-130 for spouse with a derivative child – October 10th, 2017  

Petition I-130 returned – October 13th, 2017 (fees were not paid)                                                     

Biometrics Appointment Notice- October 13th, 2017                                           

Biometrics Appointment – October 31st, 2017

USCIS Interview notice – November 29th, 2017

Petition I-130 Resubmitted (with the fees this time) – March 5th, 2018

USCIS received I-130 – March 14th, 2018

USCIS Notice of receipt – March 19th, 2018

USCIS Interview – December 3rd, 2018 (English & Civics test passed)

USCIS Oath ceremony notice – December 3rd, 2018

USCIS Naturalization ceremony/Oath – December 20th, 2018

Update I-130 petition status (via telephone) – December 29th, 2018

Update I-130 petition status (via mail) with supporting evidence – January 7th, 2019

USCIS petition update notice – January 14th, 2019

Petition I-130 for child – February 6th, 2019

November 6th, 2018 State ID Card Received, Applied for Global Entry - Feb 8,2019 Approved.

Since your spouse has been naturalized your petition has to be upgraded to spouse of usc,  from spouse of lpr. NOA 2 is a shorter time for spouse of usc. Did you receive any paperwork from uscis concerning this?

Yes my husband did receive a notice stating the case was upgraded to now show USC petitioning for a husband/wife, but still no NOA 2.😥

Im holding on to patience, I just miss my husband so much, although he visits but you know, it can never make up 😩,  but congrats to you🎊

I don't think California Service Center does IR1 for spouses of Citizens.   Hopefully they will transfer the case soon to another center.
