AoS Packet sent via USPS Signature Confirmation on 01/15/19; now it says "Delivery Attempt:Action Needed"

Anyone else that experienced this issue? It said on 01/19 that it was waiting to be picked up from the PO box and now it looks like this:

 

 

USCIS has not sent an email or text message for e-notification; which we placed the e-notification forms on the top. Should I contact USCIS first or USPS to get it returned to me? Wife's visa expires in about 3 weeks and we want this thing to arrive before then to avoid any issues.

If filed late then its not an issue. The requirement is to marry within the 90 days, which you did.

The correct one for the Chicago lockbox for USPS. I did not address it with the one for FedEx etc.

I've read a few this week that have had the same result (taking extra long to be picked up). I wouldnt worry. There is no way you can check with USCIS anyways because you dont have a receipt number. I would give it a few days.

I wouldn't call USCIS yet, but you could try the USPS to see if there's any update behind the scenes.  You'll have a better chance of getting someone who might look into this thoroughly, or perhaps be able to say that this is a known issue, USCIS has been slow to check the box, etc., something to that effect.  It really comes down to who you get on the phone.  They may not have an answer for you today, either, as sometimes they need to call a few offices to get an answer.
