Are you Canadian?  Your family doctor should be able to give you all but hep vaccines for free.  I had to pay for the hep vax before a trip, and before I got the K1 I had to get all the vaccines again bc I didn’t have records of them anymore.

Hmm... I know healthcare is provincial and I’m not familiar with NS.  Have you tried a walk-in clinic?  If you have a health card, they should be free.

That sucks!

If you’re doing your medical in Montreal, make sure you call to ensure they have vaccines.  The two panel physicians I called in Ontario did NOT have them.  They only do the required examination/X-ray/bloodwork.  My medical was $300 and $50 for sending me the package, and the sealed enveloped was torn when it arrived at my house so I wound up having to drive back down to downtown Toronto on my way to Montreal to have them re-seal.  Such a pain and so much wasted time/money.

You have never had chicken pox? If you have you don't need the vaccine, just a verbal deceleration of it is good enough.

What if a person does not have Vaccines record? And Who is recommended physician for Toronto area?

If you don't have your records you can get a titers test done. Simple blood work and it will confirm what antibodies you still have. Then you can get the shots you still need.

Then apparently not.  It would be a good idea to get the vaccine then!  If you need a cost call medisys.

I’m assuming NS has public health like AB does? Can you call your local unit and ask if it’s free or cheaper than the $99? Public Health is the most likely to have the cheapest cost.

I just called public health and they gave me some walkin clinics that provide free vaccine since I work too as healthcare provider they didn't charge me.. Thank you! :) By the way is it supposed to be only single dose? When i read online it states adult should have 2 doses but the doctor told me that one dose should be fine.
