Hello!

I had my interview today. It lasted for 15 mins. I answered first 6 questions.

Who is the President of the US?

What ocean is on the East Coast of the US?

The House of representatives has how many voting members?

The idea of self government is in the first three words of the constitution. What are these words?

When do we celebrate Independence Day?

What is the supreme law of the land?

Reading test:

Who was the first President?

Written test:

George Washington was the first President.

The officer went through my application then gave a congratulatory letter. I was told that it takes about 2 weeks to one month to get an oath scheduled.

My status changed " My oath will be scheduled."

Good luck to everyone.

Thank you so much for sharing your timeline and Congratulations! I am planning to go on vacation while waiting for my interview. I will probably just go ahead because of the wait time.

I wouldn’t risk going on vacation while waiting. The processing times are not so accurate. I was so depressed thinking my interview would be until next year because my estimate time in my account was August 2020 and suddenly I got an interview date to be in less than a month.

Hi all,

Filed N400 online on January 8th (LPR for 3 years - 90 days), while ROC was still pending. Received notice that ROC got moved to my local office (assuming Washington DC / Fairfax) on January 18th. Biometrics done January 29th. Got the interview notice on May 9th, scheduled for June 15th (this upcoming Saturday)! I'm slightly freaked out because it's a Saturday date.... which doesn't seem to happen often? I'd appreciate any info you guys might have on Saturday naturalization interviews. Anyway, I have been studying for the civics exam, and will have my husband with me since I'm expecting a combo interview (since ROC got moved to the local office right after I applied for naturalization).

Meanwhile the estimated case completion date has been a mess in my online account. It was initially Jan 2020; after biometrics Dec 2019; around the time I got the interview notice it became July 2020! Between the Saturday interview and this, I am just really hoping I don't fall through the cracks.. Thanks to you all, at least I know it is not too surprising to have already received the interview date.

Good luck to everyone! I'll update after June 15th with any news!

Is there anybody from Maryland on this thread? I’m starting to worry about my N400 i literally got 3 NOA’s saying my case was moved from several offices currently its in my local office, I applied Jan. 21 and did bio on Feb. 14. I applied with the 3 yr rule within my 90 day window and my ROC is still pending as well, which i filed last Nov. 21 of 2017. I want to apply to a different job but having my GC expired and my extension letter is the same this is giving me anxiety. I tried not to keep up with the post because I’ve been seeing alot of progress to some in here its making me think worse. 😩😩😩

@Mka19  Just wanted to give you an update, my status change last Saturday for "OATH CEREMONY WILL BE SCHEDULE"  in my USCIS Account they haven't attach any letter yet as of when the ceremony will take place.

Hey @eosorio07 ! Congratulations! I knew it was just a matter of time before they approve you! Thanks so much for your feedback. I'll have more records in my possession at my interview based on your experience. I'm still waiting for interview though. Cheers!

My husband had his interview today and PASSED!! he said it took about 20 minutes.  He got the first 6 civics questions right, then had to read and write a sentence. Then they asked when we were married (he applied based on 5 year GC) and he said the wrong date - our church ceremony was after our legal marriage.  He got super nervous after that thinking they might be suspicious, but she just asked him random questions from the application, including if he'd ever been detained/arrested/cited. He said yes, he had traffic tickets. She asked to see proof and he showed her the tickets/letter from Clerk of Courts we had. Then she said his oath ceremony would be in July! So relieved.  Exactly 5 months from date we applied online to the date of interview.
