Of course the facts are your facts.  They don't just make it up from their imagination.  The attorney is your advocate.  You may or may not sign the letter, but you would never be left alone to write it yourself, by any competent, ethical attorney.

There's no need for an I-212 in their case (well, at least no reason to believe there is a need for one), and they need an I-601 for the unlawful presence bar.
