London Medical - Opening times

Hello :)

I called Visa Medicals on Friday afternoon to make an appointment but I was on hold for 3 hours (!!!) before I decided to hang up. Is the wait usually this long or was I just unlucky? I was 3rd in the queue for at least an hour and half.

Do you know if they'll be open this Monday (Xmas eve)?

Thanks!

You calling the appointments line on 020 7589 8965?

That's the number for Basil Street. Now, you won't be going to Basil street you'll be going to Bentinck St but I believe you'll get straight through (on the phone) to Basil Street.

Don't call 020 7486 7822, you'll never get though.

Ohh. I was calling 020 7486 7822.

I didn't realise there was another number. Thanks very much! I'll call the other number first thing on Monday, in the hope they are open.

Hi @Jomily - It took me a few attempts but finally got through today.

I called the number ending by 8965 but their offices are closed this week.

I called the number ending by 7822 yesterday, on hold for 4 hours but no luck. Then called again at 9am on the dot and after an hour on hold, I managed to get through and get an appt on 8th Jan. The lady said they are under staffed due to Christmas holidays. She advised if I don't get email confirmation to call them in the New Year as staff number would be back to normal.

By the way, the first appt they suggested to me was 3rd Jan so it does seem like they still have space for early Jan appts.

Good luck!

I'll be calling first thing Monday morning, the only number on the embassy website to call for scheduling medical is the 7822 number, should I not call this? I'm concerned about calling the other number & not getting my appointment where I should.
