I received my NOA1 on 3/20/06 and have been checking daily on my status. I just checked and I have been touched today, 03/23/06. What does this mean?

I-129F Timeline:

03-10-06 - Sent I-129F to USCIS

03-15-06 - NOA1

03-25-06 - NOA2 Approval

08-28-06 - Interview!!!

11-22-06 - Got the Visa!!!

AOS Timeline:

02-08-07 - I-485 sent

02-14-07 - NOA1 (Sent to Missouri)

03-06-07 - Biometrics Appointment

03-07-07 - Transferred to CSC

05-03-07 - Card Production Ordered Email

05-10-07 - Green Card In Hand

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03-05-09 - I-751 sent

03-09-09 - NOA1 (1 yr Extension)

04-08-09 - Biometrics

07-09-09 - Card Production Ordered Email

07-17-09 - Green Card In Hand

I-130 Filing for Step-Son

11-30-09 - Received at USCIS

12-04-09 - NOA1

03-01-10 - NOA2

03-05-10 - NVC Case # Assigned

03-09-10 - NVC Mailed DS-3032 and AOS Bill

03-12-10 - Emailed DS-3032 to NVC

03-13-10 - Received Email from NVC stating they received DS-3032 (Also received AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 in the mail)

03-14-10 - Paid Affidavit of Support Fee and IV Bill online

03-16-10 - NVC Website updated to PAID for both fee's

03-17-10 - Petitioner and Agent received emails to further proceed with case

08-05-10 - NVC Case Completed

10-27-10 - Interview PASSED

10-28-10 - Picked up Visa

Means they are prolly activly working/looking at your petition.Unless you emailed them, means they got the email. Good luck and hope an approval is on its way soon. :thumbs:

It seems they are working on your case. Since you are at VSC, cases are being approved in about 2 weeks if you have everything done correctly. Hopefully your case gets approved quickly.

it means that they worked on your case today.. maybe soon you will get your NOA2.

when I was doing the 129f, I got my Noa1 in the mail so I sign up for the email and listed my recpect # and checked the staus.. I was shocked to see it was already approved. It took total of 3 weeks from sending it out to being sent to the consolate, but hit road block cause they sent it to the wrong one. Just when you get your aproval and it is in the NVC, just call to make sure it will be sent to the right place :D

When I filled out my papers, I assumed they would be sent to Hanoi Vietnam since there is an embassy there, but after visiting this site, I have learned that she must interview in HCMC. Is this correct? Will they know where to send my papers even though I remeber writing Hanoi?

I am very sure they will send your papers to HCMC. It had taken my papers 5 days from the time it was sent from NVC to the consulate in HCMC. When you gewt the approval notice in the mail, wait about 2 weeks and then you can email the consulate and confirm they recieved the package.

Yeah, you're probably about to get NOA2. Got to love Vermont.

Your case goes through HCMC, not Hanoi. Where did you write Hanoi?

You know, for the longest time, whenever I read "touched" on these timelines etc... I thought it meant people reunited with their sweeties for a visit!

Now you know where my mind is at! :blush:

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

13/04/07 - marriage

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

02/17/07 - AP and EAD arrive

03/03/08 - Infopass - where the heck is my AOS interview?? No one knows!
