Actual approval doesn't happen until after the interview ..  ;)

When CEAC status shows ISSUED then the visa is on its way to be printed/packaged/shipped .. from there it can be 5-10 business days.

Maybe,  but approval is inferred when you get the "pamphlet"

YMMV

And the airport is just a quick grab ride away .. then you can go to any of the "fun islands" to be a tourist  :)

We are looking at Coron or El Nido in April!  Rose's birthday.  Yep, in the morning maybe a 15 to 30 minute ride to NAIA

A little more difficult to get to but, put Bantayan on your list as well unless you are "Duffy" like, then don't

Coron gets my vote.   El Nido .. the hotels are like in Boracay .. right on the beach & dumping sewage in the  ocean right front where people swim, for sure should be in the "shut it down list"  .. I was going to link you a video but it seems to have been removed from YT

I think they opened and then quietly close Boracay again.  People that listed after the soft opening had a lot of problems.  It wasn't quite cleaned up as much as they wanted...it is hard to get good workers for 360 pesos a day!

Thank you.  We will look into that.  I think I may be a little more laid back than our friend. ;)

Bantayan is not yet spoiled or commercialized but it is coming as there is a lot of new construction

I have to agree with @payxibka that you need to do Bantayan. We went and we loved it. It's basically Boracay without the crowds.

It still is as we were there in March.  My guess is the next 5 years will telltale about what it will become

if the earliest interview date right now is January 24th, how fast do dates book up?  Like today the earliest is the 24th, so by this coming Monday, will all of January be booked up?  Does it usually fill up that fast or not that quick?

This week it has been on average  20 to 30 bookings each day

ok they book about 20-30 ppl a day, so then by next Monday they might be booking for Feb 7th?  Maybe I didn't ask my question correctly.    Ok, today, the earliest appt was January 24th.  So will tomorrow still be probably January 24th or maybe 28th?  I'm not asking how many bookings a day they have cause I don't know how quick they fill up.  I'm asking roughly how fast does it book up.

What would your guess on what the earliest date for interview when next Thursday comes around?  Will a week already be filled up, maybe 1.5 wks, or 2wks be filled and the next appt possibly be Feb 9th?  I hope that gave more of what I'm trying to get a rough estimate on.   Thank you for responding though.

They have not yet opened the calendar beyond the 24th.  They will need to do this soon as only  27 slots were available this morning on the 24th which is everything currently available .  Appointments are only on Thursdays.  So the next will be 1.31.  They open about 100 for each interview date

Oh I see.  so I'm guessing it doesn't fill up fast since the only date they have open now is just the 24th.  so that answers my question.  Thank you for your help.

Your missing the point,  it books about 100 slots each week.   They will have zero by tomorrow unless they open some up

YMMV

When scheduling the interview for my fiance and her daughter, can they both be in one slot or a seperate interview for each of them?  Thank you in advance.
