Hello! I will say my estimate for Dallas is saying 2020 but based on timeslines of people here, it is also taking 12 months, so I think the USCIS estimate is way overestimated and they're doing that to simply cover themselves so I'm taking that estimate with a pinch of salt.

Yes, fair point :) thank you!

I have the same issue, I 100% sure that I added 3 addresses that I lived for the past 5 years, but when I click to see the Application Snapshot, it only shows the oldest one. I hope it is a bug of the website, and they got all my information correctly.

Thanks for sharing the info, let’s hope it is just the snapshot that is buggy. We shall see. Fingers crossed.

I’ll share out the feedback when I receive some.

We need to be at USCIS office Monday to get wife finger printed for her Citizenship process.

And government shut down looming.

As I understand it, the processing of Green Cards, Citizenship, etc., is funded by the fees paid by applicants.

But still . . . will USCIS be part of the shut down ??

I have heard that if USCIS is in a Federal Building it will be shut down,  because the building itself will be shut down.

I suspect it will be impossible to get timely info on whether offices are actually closed or not.
One cannot call an office directly, and the central phone answering people are generally clueless about everything.

Not a minor point for us, unlike many others who live in big cities, because we have a two hour drive each way.

I don't think we'll be effected but I'd be curious to know for certain as I have my appointment coming up also for biometrics.

Now there is a completely different situation.

President Trump ordered ALL Federal offices be closed on 24 December to give employees an extra day off.

- - - - -

All USCIS offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24. President Trump declared that all federal departments and agencies are closed and all employees are excused from duty on that day. We will reschedule naturalization ceremonies and interviews and will promptly notify applicants of their new scheduled date. All applicants with biometric appointments will be automatically rescheduled, and will receive a new appointment notice within three weeks.

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-office-closings

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-providing-closing-executive-departments-agencies-federal-government-december-24-2018/

Someone else here mentioned their appointment on December 31st.

Look for the same closing to happen then.

That wording by USCIS is terrible.  It contradicts the previous notification that says: All interviews are cancelled for 24 December.

So a person is left with one notification that says: don't come on 24 December, and this latest message that says 'should attend as scheduled.'
