Hey, what you do to get rid those fur in your clothes? I am having a hard time to take them off..I don't have handy vacuum so you have any idea how?

Also, how can I stop them to just jump on me..I have so many scratches and turn to scar now on my arms and legs when they do that.. :crying: :crying:

For the clothes, the Lint roller, its a little roll with tape on it, it's made to take animal hair and lint off of your clothes, you can find it at wal-mart and most stores like that.

And for your cats....well just push them down!

Do you trim their claws regularly ??? I do mine every 1-2 weeks, everytime they got a point claws that grows back :) Sometimes they need only 2-3 claws to be trimmed, sometimes all of them.

Here's some useful instructions

http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/clientEd/cat_nails.asp

The best is to use this kind of scissors, found in any pet stores

And if you start trimming their claws whilst they are relatively young they won't mind so much as they get older. :D

yup :)

Thanks for completing :)

I started as soon as I got them, and I touch their paws all the time so when it's time for claw trimming, they just chill and purr like if I was stroking them :)

Also I try to do it when they are asleep, they are much more calm.

I thought you cannot cut or trim their claws? I never do that since I got them ( its not too late u think? ) so I'm going to expect some ''furmom vs furbabies fight''! :crying:

Thanks for the tips Marie .. :luv:

Thanks Mags... :luv:

You can clip them, but just make sure you don't cut into the blood vessel( the red line you can see in their claws). The link that Mephys provided tells you what to do. As long as you don't actually take them to the vets to de-claw them (barbaric practice) a good trim is more than acceptable!

Your vet would even be happy to show you what to do if you were nervous or unsure. :star:

Ouch, they must be VERY sharp by now!!!! :hehe:

NO it's not too late!! They are still very young! But I just hope you touch their paws sometimes and they are already used to that!

Try when they are sleeping, or when they are calm. They will be too crazy during playing time. You can also give them threats while doing it, and have Gary or Robin helping you. He can sit the kitties on him and hold them while you take care of the claws! And if they try to bite you, usually it's just because they think you want to play or they want to catch the scissors. Just have Gary or Robin holding them :)

Good luck !
