A majority of Americans agree with that actually... look at the opinion polls...

Opinion polls are easily manipulated and agenda driven. The reason why the Congress has such a hard time passing this ####### is because the opinion poll that really counts, the voters who let their representatives know how they really feel, are majority against it.

I will fight and scream until my last breath to keep illegals out of my country. You'll just have to get used to it.

Do you know that Sitting Bull said the same thing... actually 'nguk fling white eyes crphndzug' - look where his prediction ended up...

anyway you don't even like legals like me either in 'your country' that your forebears stole

now somebody is stealing back -it's suddenly wrong

anyone who doesn't look, think, talk and act like you needs to be behind an electric fence - when the fence becomes circular it is called a concentration camp - but it will be round your dwindling gated community of pistol twirling teeth gnashers- not round mexico

My country is going Pakistani and 'yours' is going Spanish - (or back to Spanish) - both are unstoppable

If you can't beat em or out breed em (and you can't) then join em and get ready to enjoy soccer on telly !

viva ! and AMIGOS - una recepción calurosa a los Estados Unidos !!!!

I can't help but pick at a couple of things in your post.

now somebody is stealing back -it's suddenly wrong: The USA's development and foundation was a worldwide contribution of heritages and cultures. One race of people thinking they are entitled to all of it and the hard work that has been done here over the last couple of hundreds of years is absolute ####### and it's not going to be given up easily.

My country is going Pakistani and 'yours' is going Spanish - (or back to Spanish) - both are unstoppable: Ever see what happens when you call someone from Spain a Mexican? I don't think you'd like the response! :D

If you can't beat em or out breed em (and you can't) then join em and get ready to enjoy soccer on telly !: How can one nation "outbreed" a culture which is predominately Catholic which Catholicism forbids the use of birth control? Every child born needs to be supported. But at who's expense?

Going back to Spanish? I doubt that the aboriginals of the New World were speaking Spanish when the Europeans showed up.

Your doubts are correct - but most of what is now the USA was spanish speaking before the gringos spread west.. a quick glance at the place names is a good indication...

Actually new york was dutch speaking when us limey's turned up to steal it - imagine if we hadnt !

aardvark would be the first word in the dictionary!

I don't see "law breaking" in the black and white way you do and I don't see the laws as static the way you do (although I don't understand why you do). Thinking the government is "rewarding lawbreaking" is a bit narrow and shortsighted view, IMO. What is right is not always legal, and that is especially true when we are trying to determine what is right in order to draft laws that don't exist yet. So I can't agree with you on that as such. No we shouldn't listen to xenophobes, obviously, but they're a big force and most can't admit it to themselves.

Ahhh... I see now. You are saying that the law isn't really the law if you disagree with it. That clears things up.

Catholic or not doesn't come into it... Hitler was a vegetarian catholic.

Italy is Catholic central and has the lowest birthrate in Europe

Perhaps they are infertile because of all those pizzas with preservatives in ?

Birthrate is a cultural thing - a bit like gun ownership but far nicer

Been off your meds again lately, eh? ;)

Actually there is a problem with illegals - the 150 thousand Americans who illegally entered Iraq - armed and dangerous and pumping oil 24/7 - they didn't have visas either

Let's deal with that first before we pick on Pedro the plant picker who came in unarmed and worked for what he took

If we want people to stay in their own country then let's start there

A majority of Americans agree with that actually... look at the opinion polls...

OMG...what does that have to do with illegals entering our country illegally and then the government wants them to be protected...get over it...

as far as watching soccer, I love soccer, my girl is Korean and that is a really big thing there...but when someone makes my child learn Spanish, that is where I will draw the line and pay for private school...the only other language that will be forced on my child is Korean, Hongul...sorry, but if you come, go through the process, if you can't leave, drown swimming, or of a heat stroke in the desert...dump the body at the Mexican border for authorities and call it a day. Move to a border town such as El Paso and you will be on hear complaining about it in 2 weeks...especially when you get you $30,000 SUV hit by an uninsured driver, their fault and your insurance goes up...not to mention the high school tax rate I pay and half the cars outside have license plates from Mexico, or you take your SO to a store and the stares are so obvious...sorry, but I am fed up with it.

If you go to Muslim country, ignore their laws regarding what constitutes a valid marriage, do urfi or misyar so you can have a premarital roll in the hay in the name of Allah, then come home, and obediently file for a K1 visa, you do not have the right to be offended if anyone is unconvinced that you are really married or halal, because, by filing a K1, you have already admitted that you are not. DUH!

No one else is obligated to make you feel good about what you did.

I was saying that the majority of Americans are against the war - I agree they are against 'amnesty' for illegals - and, surprisingly ,so am I

Sure didnt see anyone rolling in hay when I was in Saudi - all the totty is behind 15 foot walls and you can't buy ladders either

In Saudi you commit adultery and then get stoned - in America you get stoned and then commit adultery

Gary,

There's a reason the traditional expression goes "God, Family and Country" as opposed to "Country, God, Family".

A law is the law, but the law isn't always just. God is just and what is just must, therefore, be the will of God.

Disobeying the law has historically been OK (in hindsight, always) when the cause has been just.

???? My siggy confuses you more?

I live in a majority moslem area - full letter box headgear etc - I talk to the guys about how wonderful it must be to have your wife obey you and never contradict you - you should see their faces ! taint true -they get all the incessant rabbit too ! its all the same stuff that we have in west - its called 'shared humanity'

Did I vote to live in a Moslem area ? no - do I hate them - no ! The young moslems I meet are cleaner and better mannered and more litter free than the locals in very many cases. Perhaps the Mexicans might have some nice things going for them too if we bothered to find out ...

Your siggy leads me to assume you dont want pure bred Americans to romp with foreigners of an ilk you don't like and who haven't had a government medical- and then bring their germs back first and their partners back later - if your sig isn't about that then I am confused (by it).. if it is - then of course you are entitled to your opinion which isn't that bad as long as you don't want to invade em and steal their oil.

I still haven't come to terms with the vision of people rolling in haystacks in the desert - perhaps its rolls of astro turf

So you think God is in favor of people breaking the law of the land? I didn't know he gave you a new commandment. Thanks for sharing that with us.

God isn't going to give you everything in writing. He gave you a brain, Gary.

Slavery was the law, once upon a time. God fearing people who believed in justice opposed that law. They encouraged people to break that law. Today, we are a better nation for it.

The question you should be asking yourself isn't whether illegal immigrants have broken the law. Clearly, they have. The appropriate question is this: is the course of action you are advocating just?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
