Change of address

Hi all,

I live in the UK and my fiancée lives in the US and our Form I-129F has just been classed as approved and so are awaiting the next steps etc.

We have both changed our addresses since we did the form and my fiancée has updated hers on the USCIS page. I just wondered if i need to do anything to change mine? Will i expect to receive anything in the post here in the UK?

Thanks,

Andy

Thanks. I assumed that most things are electronic but I know here in the UK the government send a lot of things by post still so wanted to make sure

Yes you have to inform uk embassy about your changed address when uk embassy will receive your case from NVC so they can send you p3...(that’s what i have to do)but for USCIS you don’t need to

In the UK (and at almost every consulate now), they just communicate with the beneficiary over email. He'll need to put his current address in any forms he has to fill out for the actual visa application, and for where to send his passport and the sealed envelope back to, but he won't get any packets in the mail.
