For CR-1 does anybody know if we have to pay anything to the Consulate on the day of the interview,  or the fees we paid to Visa center cover everything?

some here are confusing visa types

for a tourist visa the fee is paid at BMCE to schedule interview

you are a CR1

so far you have paid for visa application and AOS docment review

if approved for a visa you will need to pay the actual visa fee

you can pay this thru CEAC / the green card will not be issued until this is paid

it is advised to pay before entering the US / no receipt is given / it is in the computer

but u can pay it after arrival

this fee does not apply to K1   / that processing after marriage is different

Sometimes there is a small courier fee to pay, but no official US government fees are due at the interview for any immigrant visa.
