Hello everyone,

On August 16, 2018, my AOS application was received by the National Benefit Center. I received my first I-797C Notice of Action August 27, 2018. I have not yet received the Biometrics Appointment Letter, I just called USCIS Customer Service and they said that an appointment is not yet scheduled for me.

Do you guys think that is the normal procedure? Normally I should receive my work permit around 3 or 4 months after my application, do you think that I will receive it despite the delay on the biometrics?

Thanks

That's an appointment with your local office

Find your local office here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

Then go to their website and see if you can make an appt

Hi! May I ask what happened to your case? When did you receive your biometrics appointment letter? I am on the 50th day since my submission of AOS and still no biometrics appointment. I placed a service request last week and I got an update today saying that USCIS has looked into my case and a decision has not been made at this time and is still under review. WTH. I am really worried 😢

Hi,

I did the same like you and I received the biometric appointment letter the week after. I'm sure you will get it very soon.

Good luck
