Hey Everyone! 

Im mailing off my I130 petition as of Monday for my husband to join me here in the USA. I’m nervous on how long this whole process will take. Anyone been through this process he’s in Nigeria.

are you a USC or legal permanent resident?

 

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

next: waiting anxiously for the mail...

Less than a year, the earlier you mail it in, the quicker. 

 

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

Expect 12 to 15 months from filing to Interview.

2/27/2020: Combo Interview (ROC and Citizenship)
3/31/2020: submitted service request for being pass normal processing time
4/7/2020: Card being produced
4/8/2020: Approved
4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received

5/21/2019: Filed Online
5/21/2019: NOA1 Date
6/13/2019: Biometrics Appt
2/27/2020: Citizenship Interview
4/7/2020: In queue for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled
6/19/2020: Notice Oath Ceremony scheduled

Yes, been through the process which took us 13 months and 12 days from start to finish...Be sure to keep yourself busy, but most of all patience is a must...I will tell anyone that is going through this process that it is not for the faint of the heart, but in the end you will reap the benefits and rewards and that's being with your soulmate...With God, all things are possible..Wishing you well on your journey!
