I-131 AP DENIED / I-765 APPROVED

Hello Everyone,

 

On Sept 7th, 2018 I received the text/email that my case was ready to be schedule for interview. (No appointment or letter as of today Oct 10.)

Yesterday Oct 9th,2018  I received text/email my I-765 EAD status: New Card Is Being Produced. (I'M SO GRATEFUL)

Then Today Oct 10th, 2018 Email that my AP I-131 has been denied ... I don't understand why. I haven't travel since I arrived, I have not abandoned the application or anything like that...

 

Any Ideas?

I'll be looking info online so if someone has anyy Info let me know.

That it interesting as generally it isn't an issue for it to be approved with the EAD as a EAD/AP combo card. Even for us, and I tell everyone the same, don't bother with dates or anything on it just fill out the basic info and submit it. Odd they would deny the one over the other.

I’ve seen this happen a few Times. And most cases the AP later turned approved, and they received combo card. I would wait for a bit to see.

Wow that's a little weird. But I would wait until the card actually arrives so you can see if it has the AP text or not for sure.
