Hi I'm new to this but was just wondering how long does it take for the US Embassy in London UK to get intouch with me on what I have to do next for my K1 Fiance Visa application ?? My US Fiancée filed for the I-129F form for me back 3/4 months ago and the California Immigration Center recieved our petition on the 6th June 2018. So me and my Fiancée would also like to know how can you check where the application is at ?? I.e. is it still in the US at California Immigration Center or has it been forwarded to the US Embassy in London as of yet ?

Any help or answers on this would be gratefully appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Earliest you will here something is early January, then 3-4 weeks thru NVC, and then another few weeks to the embassy. You can set up an account at the link below with your NOA1 number, that way you will know when approved, and when it is on the way to NVC.

USCIS will inform your fiancé when they approve your petition and send your file to the Department of State's National Visa Center(NVC). (January?)

The NVC will assign you a new case number and forward your case to the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy in London.(February?) Your fiancé will be notified by NVC.

When London receives your file, they will send you a letter telling you to find your instructions on their website for applying for the K1 Visa. Your Interview might be in April. It is very hard to predict because timelines change constantly and are dependent on each step before going well with no delays.

You have done all that you can for the petition at this time. You might want to start reading the London K1 instructions so you know what actions, forms, documents and fees you will need in early 2019. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/
