Hey This is Jerin! I had submitted a sample Cash Deposit Slip at the bank after which I realised I could get one after logging into my profile. Now the CGI Reference Number  of the sample form does not match with mine. and it says " No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for. "   All I need to do is Change the CGI Reference Number. Please Help!!!      I found the sample slip here  https://www.***removed***/india/usa-visa-fee/sample-cash-deposit-slip.pdf

Thanks

What visa type are you?  Your profile and timeline are blank

You did not print out a current deposit slip to take to BPI to pay the visa fee?   You used a sample from somewhere??     You are going to need to contact the embassy.

Also, do take note that it can be up to 24 hrs after paying the visa fee (and yes I know what it states on the website),  also note that weekends don't count.

Not sure what country you did this in, but if you went into the bank without the correct deposit slip there is no way the bank should have taken your money. when you print the actual deposit slip it generates a virtual account number for 1 time use to process your payment to the embassy. If you went to the bank with a sample deposit slip there is no way the deposit would have went thru, because the account number was invalid on the sample deposit slip and the bank would have known that instantly as soon as they entered the account number and tried to deposit  your money. At least when I went with my fiancee to the bank in Thailand that is how it works. There should have been no way for a deposit to be made with the sample deposit slip. Hope you got a receipt for that transaction or I don't think you will be seeing that money anytime soon.
