Hi, I have applied for n400 under five year rule.  Can anyone help share list of important documents that might be required besides the following:
1. Appointment letter.
2. GC
3. All Old and new Passports.
4. Travel document.
5. Marriage certificate.
6. Tax returns.
7. State ID & Drivers license.
9. SSC

Do we have to separately take our photos?
Any other important document I'm missing, please let me know so I can prepare up to my best.

If you're applying under the 5 year rule the only required document with your application is a photocopy of the back & front of your current GC.

If you're talking about the N400 interview, you can certainly take those things you mentioned with you to the interview, but they may or may not be asked for --- depends on the IO.

The only "odd" document I was asked for during my interview was for a copy of my foreign birth certificate.

Photos would have been taken at your biometrics appointment previously, if you are at the interview stage.

You're good. Applying under 5 year rule does not require lots of documents. During my interview I took with me 1 and half inch thick of supporting documents but only he asked for my green card. Bring passport size photo with you just in case the IO needs it. I read post that photos are being asked and when they don't have it ready the IO told them to go CVS and submit it as soon it is available. But in my case the IO did not require it. I asked him if he needs my passport photos he said he's good, everything is ok.

Better have it just in case. My friend just recently took her interview submitted her passport photos. She remind me to have it too. The IO did not ask mine  but I can use these photos for getting US passport. God bless on your interview.

I applied under 5-years rule and took everything you listed above BUT the only thing the officer looked at was my green card. A passport photo is not needed as they will use your photo taken during biometrics but you can take one for peace of mind.

The questions during the interview depend if you are applying under  3 year or 5-year rule. Mine was under 5 year rule and very simple.

The officer was extremely nice and we just kept talking throughout the interview. There are lots of interview experience posted here on VJ. I will advise to read them.
