Can I process N 400 while waiting for I-751 Condition removal on GC

Hi everyone, 

 

I have entered US on K-1 on Jan-2015 and and applied for AOS in Feb - 2015.

I received my GC on December - 2015.

I have applied for condition to be removed on November 2017 which I have not received any reply yet. 

 

Can I start Naturalization (N 400) process while I am waiting for I-751 reply or I can apply after December - 2018 since in December -2018 I should be able to finish 3 years on GC?

I do believe you can begin the process AT the 3yr mark, not before. I don't think you qualify to apply before that date. But if your I-751 is still in process by that time, you can.

You can file n-400 90 days prior to the 3 year anniversary of your green card, whether your I-751 is pending or not.

 

(assuming you’re still married to the same spouse)

No you’re wrong. OP can file as early as 90 days prior to the 3rd anniversary of being a permanent resident as of the “resident since” date on the green card. OP must still be married to and living with the same U.S. citizen spouse though.
