Medical Exam Second Day How Long?

How long does it take on the second day for the medical exam for the vaccines?  Also, is there a certain time my fiancee' should be at SLEC the 2nd day?  The reason I am asking is because my fiancee has a flight scheduled to leave Manila to go back home at 6:25pm so she needs to be at the airport at 4pm.  We are hoping this is enough time to get everything she needs to have done at the medical exam for the second day and to catch her flight back home.  Thanks.

She can go early but not at the crack of dawn to finish her exam. If everything is fine Vaccines take less then an hour. She should have plenty of time to get to the airport to catch her flight.

My wife had an early am appointment, I think 8:30am .  She was there an hour before.  She said she was worried as she did not know her outcome from he prior days physical and did not know if she was going for vaccinations or elsewhere because of a negative test. She was out and had a late lunch in early afternoon.  Every day can be different.  Hope all goes well for you!

Medical is first come for serve.. So the earlier she is, the faster it will be all done.. I was there very early, but I got sputum.. Someone on my line did it all in one day that day.. At 2:30 am line outside is starts.. Goodluck for your fiancée.. I hope her medical exam will be successful.. Please keep us posted..

She should go there at least 7am tho, because it would also really matter with how many people there will be in SLEC. Plus the traffic in Manila is horrible. In what airport will she be flying? She needs at least 2 hours to get to Naia terminal 1 or 2 from SLEC. Friendly tip: she can show her ticket to the nurse, and she will be given a priority. That's base to my experience.

 On the first day of her medical, she'll be given a slip  indicating a time when she's gonna go back on the second day. I waited for the specified time on my slip before I went to SLEC. I was done within an hour for the immunization.

Thanks for all the replies everyone.  That gives us an idea of what to expect and everything.

 

We just got this email for SLEC and it says, "We advise applicants to have the medical examination 2 weeks before their interview dates."  My fiancee is having hers 3 weeks before the interview.  Is this a problem?  Thanks....full message below...

 

St. Luke's Extension Clinic (SLEC) is open from Monday to Friday (except Philippine holidays) from 6:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on a first come -first served, walk-in basis (no appointment is needed). We are located at 1177 J. Bocobo St. Ermita, Manila.

The medical screening examination usually requires 2 working days to complete if no additional examination is needed. The first day is the medical examination; the second day is for vaccination and release of result. However, if during the medical screening examination additional work-ups will be required in accordance with the US CDC Technical Instruction, the entire process may take longer to complete.  We advise applicants to have the medical examination 2 weeks before their interview dates. 

 

However it is your discretion if you want to have your medical exam earlier than 2 weeks or on your preferred date.

Is it ok for sure to do it 3 weeks out because SLEC seems like they only want you to do it 2 weeks out?

You can do it two days before the interview or two months before the interview.   That SLEC email is very out-dated.   

 

Visa validity is tied to the date of the medical, maximum of 6 months from the date of the medical.
