I made a non-delivery of notice e-request a few days after I got the courtesy copy last month. USCIS replied thru e-mail last week and today I got the official 18-mo. extension notice.

How’s that? Isn’t supposed to be for the first 12-month Extensión letter when they said that you can request a no delivery  of notice?  How did you do it?

Here's the link to the e-request ... https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do. I explained that I got the courtesy copy but I do not have a lawyer/representative. And that I am requesting for the official notice.

When I go to that page, the "select form" drop down is empty. Tried 3 different web browsers on Mac and Windows. What gives?

Same here. Seems like their link is broke. Anyways.

Do you think they will eventually send out the official letter?    I received my copy on 8/27. I wonder if I should request info pass 3 months prior the expiration of my 12-month Ext and get stamp on passport but also I heard field office has to keep cond gc 😰

Thanks for posting about this. I tried it and received an email confirmation saying to expect an answer by Oct 22nd. I guess I'll see what happens.

Please keep us posted If they send you the official letter.

I’m also worried because I received courtesy letter and I didn’t have any attorney for ROC and my 12-month official letter expires in March ‘19.

I’m tempted to go to field office and get passport stamp if they don’t send the official 18-month official letter by January.

Or maybe I’m just getting paranoid.

Trust God everything will be ok.

Filed: Timeline

So, I followed others here and made a "non-delivery of notice" request about 2 weeks ago. Today received an email response from the USCIS:

Quote

If your 12-month extension has expired, you must schedule an appointment with
your local field or district office as indicated below to receive a stamp in
your passport to extend your authorization of work and travel for another year.
If you would like to schedule an appointment with your local office, please
visit our web site at www.uscis.gov. You must use the InfoPass Appointment
Scheduler prior to visiting your local office. You will need to bring this
letter, a copy or the original receipt notice and your valid passport with you.

Well then, that settles it. Helpful as always.
