Sounds cool.

Can you please tell for how long they kept your passport ?

It's simple upload the documents get a joint sponsor. The Embassy in abu Dhabi had my passport for 3 weeks. They asked for a joint sponsor. Once I emailed the documents to them. They sent the visa in 3 days. They must have given you instructions on a paper.

I had my interview yesterday.

The Interviewer asked me about marriage date and bla bla bla.

He then said

1. I can't see the AOS of your wife online.

(My wife is 1000 percent positive that she uploaded the AOS and I had a hard copy of it )

2. He then said your wife's income was low and she need to find a joint sponsor.( But my wife showed 3k more than the required slab)

3. He said thank you so much and I left the building.

Now the real enigmatic part starts.

When I left the building, he sent security after me everyone was calling my name.

4. Anyhow outside the building I heard one of em and he asked me to return to the officer. ( I was shivering that time and were in a fix thinking all the way of what could have gone wrong. Many of the guards were looking at me very suspiciously and some of them were behaving like I was going to jail). Damn!

5. I returned to the officer he said

I am sorry for the mix up and got my left hand fingerprints, I asked him do you want my right hand as well sir? He said No. Then he said thank you and left the window.

Now I am in a mix myself. What was his mix-up that he mentioned.

Why he took only left hand fingerprints ?

Why was that hustle after me ?

As I have told you yesterday, don't take tension and stay positive. They haven't found any red flag otherwise they will detained you in a separate room and bombard with heavy questions and in the end push you to signed a paper.

Regarding finger prints they need right hand four fingers print, left hand four fingers print and then both thumbs together print.   Sometime it may happen that some of prints not saved in their system that's why they called you and took only missing side finger prints as the others were fine. Hope this help.

Just submit missing documents properly at once and you are good to go :)

Thanks

Your wife knew the rules.  She should have been prepared. If she cannot find a joint sponsor, you are in trouble.

We got one. Will submit the docs again on monday.

Were you given 221g or some other instructions?

I was given 221g along with all the originals but they kept my medical envelope and passport.
