Yes I updated that just now to make it reflect read/unread a bit more clearly.  I still need to add back something to show whether or not you posted in the topic previously (also useful to know).

Thanks for all the site work, Captain Ewok! I know you're aware, but I'll describe the issue for those who aren't aware. Previously, if there were unread posts in a thread that the user had not commented in, the title of the thread would be bold and the folder icon would be a light blue color. If there were unread posts in a thread that the user had participated in, the folder icon would be a dark blue color. It was an easy way to distinguish updated threads that you had participated in. With the current update, all threads with new content have the dark blue folder icon, regardless of if the user has written in that thread or not.

Yes I need to add back that indication. The greater confusion was that few people understood that distinction (wondered why they were opposite sometimes even though the thread was read). I’m considering a small gray text “you replied” to the right of a topic title, if you replied to it. Thoughts?

I know other forums that have a dot or a star on the thread icon (VJ has a speakbubble) when you have commented on it.

Sure!  I just updated so you can see the new icons if you do a hard refresh (click "shift refresh")...  star is at the center of the envelope.  Many other options if this is ugly or distracting.  Let me know!
