I had my N400 interview on June 13th, 2018. I am still waiting for an oath ceremony to be scheduled at the Gainesville (FL) Federal Courthouse. How long does it take to schedule an oath ceremony at the courthouse?

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but I believe they try to have a set number of persons to be sworn in on a given day.

 

Be patient, you will be notified soon...the important part is YOU ARE A U.S CITIZEN!!!!!

I know with my wife it was a little over 6 weeks before her oath was scheduled after the interview.

You become a US Citizen after you take the oath not before that.

My oath ceremony was finally scheduled on 09/04/2018.

 

Oath ceremony date: 10/18/2018

Interview date: 06/13/2018

Approved on the interview day.
