My wife is currently on a 2-year conditional green card through K-1 Visa. When we file I-751, do we need to include a G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, in the packet?

Does it work though? Because I heard G-1145 are only for petitions sent to lockboxes. The mailing submission for ROC isn’t to a lockbox. I would like to know though if it does work as I will be submitting our I-751 soon as well and it would be convenient to receive e-notifications.

For ROC? I''m actually not sure...I did search again and it does look like it's only available for lockboxes whereas the I-751 is sent to the service center directly.

"This service is only available for forms filed at our three Lockbox facilities located in Lewisville, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; and Phoenix, Arizona. "

PSA: As of March 2019 this does work and several people report that they get the notification.

AOS (from F-1 Visa)

2016-06-30: AOS package sent

2016-07-07: NOA received

2016-08-05: Biometrics Appt.

2016-09-13: EAD/AP approved. Case status updated to "ready to be scheduled for an interview".

2016-09-23: EAD/AP combo card received.
2017-04-21: Case status updated to interview scheduled and notice mailed. Interview scheduled for 2017-05-25

2017-05-25: Interview went smoothly. Was told that case would be recommended for approval. About 6 hours later, the case status was updated to approved!

2017-05-31: Card mailed.

2017-06-02: Card received!

It’s been working since they switched to petitions getting sent to lockboxes instead to  service centers directly

 

edit: started around September 2018 I believe
