Hi,

I filed for Naturalization as at the right time to file sometime in Dec 2017, had my Biometrics done in January 2018 and since then

my status hasnt changed. What could be the delay, what can i do about it?

It depends on state to state and how many people have applied, don't worry! be patient. I am from Michigan and I applied in December 2017 and had my biometrics in January 2018. I got my Interview update last week.

I also applied in December 2017, and did my fingerprints in January 2018. I'm a Detroit filler, and I didn't get an interview notice until about 5 days ago. Don't worry, it'll come soon enough. I know quite a few people who applied at around the same time in different cities who are just getting theirs.

Naturalization is taking longer these days. Be patient. In my case I applied in March 2017 and I just got my citizenship in May 2018. Keep checking your status online at uscis website in case any update. Good luck!

I wouldn’t worry. I am a December 2017 filer, had my biometrics Jan 2018 and it says my interview is anticipated Dec 2019 ☹️☹️  Dallas is so backed up.
