Should I go to my Infopass Apopintment?

I'm now a little torn if I should go to the USCIS office tomorrow (which is a little far where i live, the one close to me didn't have any dates available).. My GC expired 07/03/2017 last year, so that means my gc extension letter is until 07/03/2018 (If still considering the 12 months validity, correct?) I am going to travel though between October-November, should I still go to the infopass? Or are they going to turn me away due to this new bulettin? And if I don't go, how do I cancel my appointment?

I would still go, but I wouldn't mention the bulletin. I would explain that you will be gone past the year mark and that you need the stamp for the next extension.

Go. I would not depend on USCIS for anything. Who knows when you'll get the new letter that extends your GC.

certainly go because the new bulletin says  the new receipts as of June 11 will show that extension you however filed way before this time and would've already received your 797 notice of action so this bulletin is really for persons who've not yet received that notice of action since filing and who will be filing from today going forward

You missed this part that applies to the OP (bold is mine):

 

Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card.

update: went and got my stamp today. the lady didn't mention the bulletin and even apologized for the delays in processing the I-751s.
