RFE for I-864, need help

My wife and I submitted her paperwork for the I-485 last November and only in April did we receive an RFE. We thought we had submitted all of the necessary paperwork, but the RFE said:

 

"Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, was submitted; however, it was not from from the petitioner/sponsor. Submit a completed and signed I-864, for the petitioner/sponsor listed on Form I-130 or Form I-129F. Even if a joint sponsor will be used, the petitioner/sponsor must submit form I-864."

 

I checked our copies and I don't see an I-864 form with my information. The only copy is for an I-864 from my father as a joint sponsor. So my question is, should I resubmit with I-864 forms for myself and my father? Should my form I-864 say, "I am the petitioner" and my father's say, "I am the only joint sponsor?"

The petitioner must be a sponsor and provide an I-864 even if they need a joint sponsor. The I-864 is a legal contract, and the petitioner must be "on the hook"/responsible to ensure the intending immigrant does not become a public charge.

yeu are the primary sponsor regardless of your income, therefore you must file an i864 as the petitioner, your dad will file as the only joint sponsor
