Hello to Everybody!

 

Can someone please let me know if I check my K1 Visa status online and it moves from Administrative Processing to Issued, thus that means my fiancee can go to the DHS office to collect her visa?

I am having the issue. My status says Issued since last week and i dont know how long I should wait to get my visa

I don't know the Ghana specifics but I do believe it should mean he should be able to go and get it. Try asking in regional forum for Ghana. Congratulations!

Straight from your P3 letter:

 

How will I receive my visa? If approved, you will be given a document that will provide you with instructions on how to pick up your visa.

 

Have you taken a moment and reviewed this document for further instructions? Have you called the shipping location to verify that it is there and awaiting some additional information from you and they may not have been able to get in touch. At this time I recommend being assertive to know the whereabouts of your visa package. It might require thinking outside the box.

i have not got my visa still from the US embassy in Ghana, since May 28th when CEAC status say ISSUED. the 10 days the CO gave has passed. I am very confused and worried.

Upon the completion of your interview you were supposedly given a document which explains how to pick up your "issued" visa. This is straight out of the P3 for Ghana.

 

How will I receive my visa? If approved, you will be given a document that will provide you with instructions on how to pick up your visa.

 

Where is the document? Why have you not tried to get your visa. Why are you here complaining when you have received help on what needs to be done?

 

Ask your questions over in either the sub-forum or a VJ Thread where others are processing in Ghana where you can ask questions of others

Please I don't want you to think that I don't know what to do??? I have followed all the necessary steps per the instructions, I have gone to the DHL office...please if your bothered because i needed someone who has had any information of how to handle this my issue is bothering you please ignore it. However i will appreciate your help if any.

Your making no sense. You come here and complain but you don't ask for help. If you are running into a "dead end" with the document from the embassy then share the document and ask specifically for help. Complaining isn't going to get any help.

 

If you want my knowledge and help then ask. Upload a picture of the paper you received after your interview. I'll be more then happy to help but I am not going to listen to complaints when you haven't even expressed what your issues are. We cannot read your mind. That is the "issue [that] is bothering" me.

 

I'm glad to help but you have to help yourself first and explain what your supposed to do, where are supposed to go, what have you found out, what does DHL say etc. etc. That is the kind of information we can use to help.

 

Stating "i have not got my visa still from the US embassy in Ghana, since May 28th when CEAC status say ISSUED. the 10 days the CO gave has passed. I am very confused and worried" tells us your current condition. It doesn't tell us where your problems are.  

 

If I didn't care about your situation, I would have never replied. I did researched based on what you said in the quote above and provided it to you. Did anyone reach out to help you!! NO.

First, I stated I was given a white sheet instructing me of how to get my passport (Visa) after 10 days. This sheet is what everybody get from the Embassy when your visa is approved. After the 10 days I have not received any text nor email telling me that my passport is ready for pick-up. I went to the DLH Office they said they have not received it.

My next option to is to got the Embassy....

 

I am not complaining, I needed information from what may be someone has been through and how it was resolved, though  we may not be at the same location?

Lol....Almost everyone I know who had thier interview on May 28 & May 30 have not received their passport yet. When DHL recieves it from the embassy we will surely get the notification. I've read previous posts about others who received their passports 3 weeks after the interview, so it not something new

You're welcome Nana. no need to get worried, I think the 10 days they state on the paper is just an estimate. Because just after that paragraph they also state that certain problems can delay the process.
