hello everyone,
when I open my CEAC page, I have an access to pay AOS fees and IV fees but my Choice of Agent form is not opened yet. Is it common? As I have read that you have to fill form first before they will let u pay fees. But in my case, we have an access to pay fees but dnt have an access for choice of agent. Has anyone else faced this too?

thanks.

Are you using an attorney?  If so, then your attorney is automatically selected as your agent for the DS-261.

We have the same.

Paying fees is open, but not the forms. Seems normal. First they make you pay and then you can advance.

Cheers

But I have read everywhere that first you have to choose an agent and then you can pay fees. Seem like its normal now. You guys don’t have an access to Choose an agent form i.e. DS-261?

Pivot cases means we will just have to upload documents on CEAC and we don’t have to send documents by mail to NVC?

and why did they choose our case to be pivot?

Yes exactly, you will not mail anything to NVC, all documents will be uploaded only. A lot of embassies are switching over to this system...so that means yours is one of them.

Once the payment go through you will have the access to complete AOS form and D-261. It will take 3-5 working days for your payment to be process. Also, NVC don't accept any documents by mail now everything has to be scanned and uploaded on to the website.

I think you meant DS-260 right? As everyone said that we dont have to do DS-261.

Yes, they mean ds-260. And the AOS form, I-864 is something that you will download and either fill out electronically or print & fill in by hand. Either way you need to print it & sign it...then scan & upload. You'll also see the list of required documents that you need to submit for both petitioner & beneficiary. Underneath that will be the option to "add more" for additional documents. For example, that's where you can upload additional police certificates if you've lived in more than one country...and anything extra you'd like to add.

Thank you. Can you tell me if I need Police Certificate from Saudi Arabia as well as I stayed there for 7 months in 2015. (I'm from Pakistan).
However, Dept of State website said that you have to submit Police Certificate from foreign country if you have stayed there for more than 12 months.(I stayed there for 7 months). Plus. website said that Police Certificates are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer resides in Saudi Arabia.
