I appreciate any help I can get!

I need a little help filling out my I-130 form. I am currently in the process of being employed and my start day is the 30th of this month, however I wanted to turn my application in by tomorrow. In the employment section of this form, do I put that job down or put down unemployed?

And another question for supporting evidence, I have pics of the wedding, ring exchange, and a couple of our dates, would that be sufficient? Also do I have to write anything on those pictures, like we had to write our names on the back of the passport pictures?

Additionally, these are the documents I am sending with the applications (I-130, I-130a, and G-1145), can you please let me know if I need anything else?

-Marriage certificate copy

-My Consular Report copy (for citizenship)

-Her birth certificate copy

-My passport copy

-My social security card copy

-Pics of wedding, ring exchange, dates for supporting evidence

-Mine and her passport photos (2 each)

-Fees

Thank you!

You would put any employment you have till the date you filled the form, so unemployed at present.

SS card copy isn’t required.

you don’t have to write on the wedding photos.

i suggest you add few other items like evidences of travel to your spouse (like flight itineraries, passpot stamps), receipts of any gifts sent. If you have added you spouse as beneficiary anywhere, include those too. It never hurts to provide as much evidences of relationship as possible.

To get the semantics out of the way first, you are not submitting application forms, the I-130 is a petition form and the other two forms are supplement forms to said petition form (i.e. you are petitioning, not applying for anything).

To answer the employment question, you put the current status on the date you sign the forms.  "In the process of being employed" is not the same as actually being employed so "unemployed" is the correct answer.

I've lined out the items you absolutely do not need:

I agree with the prior poster, include more evidence of your time spent together in-person, that is your strongest evidence.

...and to the extent that evidence is in your passport (in country for visits etc.) then include THOSE pages of your passport.

Thank you all so much for your help! Just a final question, I brought her 2 passport photos with me, and they are 1 1/2 by 2 I just realized, would I be okay? I also have 1 that is 2 by 2, but only one of those. What do you suggest I should do?

If you don’t have two 2x2 size photos of your wife, then don’t send them. It’s not required since she isn’t in the US. Sending wrong photos (in size or number) might trigger an RFE for something that’s not required.
