Hi folks!

First of all, let le tell you that i got my K1 last week (hurray!). Interview at Brussels embassy went very smoothly! :thumbs:

So now i have my plane ticket for next month. But now i'm wondering when i will be able to get to work. I understand i will have to fill in one of the zillion forms for adjustement, as well as EAD. It looks like that takes up to 90 days!? Meaning i can't work in the meantime? That s$cks.. excuse my french.. :whistle:

And how soon can i get travel documents? That's another thing, i want to be able to come back to my home country, for a short vacation, and to bring some more stuff back to the US.

Yay! The Journey continues! :dance:

i hope uy have your visa in your hand because my bf got approved too at his interview and they took his passport and we are still waiting over 2 weeks later for visa cause they are still processing it. If you have visa congratulations. I cant wait formy hubby to get his

After you arrive to the US you must get married within 90 days and then you can apply for AOS/EAD/AP. Read the guides on vj, they're very helpfull, and check the timelines and processing times.

Congratulations on Recieving your Visa....

When you arrive in the US get married as soon as possible.... don't forget to get your certified copy of the marriage licscene... get the paperwork prior to your getting married, start filling it out and send it in.... I can't tell you how long it's going to take, but be prepared to keep yourself busy once you arrive in the US because we were married in November, applied for AOS and EAD in Feb. and we are still waiting for EAD, I would think now that we are married the US would want some more tax money from my husband.....
