After much consideration and soul searching; as incredibly heart shattering as it is, I am withdrawing our petition.

Perhaps not receiving NOA2 is a message from a higher power that we just aren’t meant to be together.

Thank you to all of you who have been a huge support system during this process and I wish each of you so much happiness in life with your loves ❤️

It breaks my heart to see this :(.

Meghan I know you must have your reasons so I won't say Nooooooo don't give up, because you know what's best for you but there is a saying in my home language and translated into English it sounds a little like this 'Only that which is gold is tested, rocks or stones are not', bit like a Diamond has to go through immense pressure as coal before it turns into a diamond?

Sometimes those who are most worthy, go through the most testing times....

and hope you know whether you do actually withdraw or not, that you still have some friends here :)

Are there other October filers waiting to be approved?? The forum seems to be pretty quiet now...

Yes, NOA1 10/17

My senator contacted USCIS on June 4th.

USCIS replied on June 6th that they are expediting our case and I should receive a NOA2 by mail within 30 days.

Last time I checked, on June 7th, my case was not assigned to an officer yet. I don't know what is the hold up now.

And I can still receive a RFE...

Congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!!!!!!!!!!!  Im so happy for you!!!!

My embassy is Spain!!!! like you..... Im so nervous for my interview.... !!!! 😥 I hope they are "nice" people...lol

Thanks!!

Don't worry they are very nice and polite people. If you want my advice, try to show confidence and go to the point when answering the questions. If it's a yes/no question, just answer yes or no. If you need to elaborate your answer, do it in one or two sentences, not more.

It was a pretty painless process for me, so I wouldn't worry too much ;)

Keep your fingers crossed and pray (if you believe in prayers) that you will not get RFE! I was terrified that I would and God knows I would've been upset... I think you should try to wait the 30 days and then go from there. I really don't think it takes very long to approve a case once an adjudicator begins working on it so NOA2 within the 30 days is still possible

Thank you! Yes, I am terrified to get an RFE. I can't even... and RFE could add another month of waiting to my current almost 8 months ... but there is nothing else to do at this point just wait.

I hope you will get your NOA2 soon. Good luck to you and @Brigitte84 @BryceAndRebeca

I haven't seen anyone waiting without RFE... at least no one that responded.

Hi, day 228 here no RFE  but not stressing about it anymore. I know NOA2 will come, God's timing is the best🙏🏾🙏🏾
