We started our Journey 09/07/2014 when we were married in Canada. Me being a US citizen and he is a Canadian citizen. Along the way, we could not have done it without the help of Visa Journey. My husband was allowed into the US on 05/26/2016. He got a Social Security # right away and we waited and waited and .... After countless calls and inquires as to the status of my husband's green card, we were finally told that his paperwork had been lost.  Thanks to the advice from VJ I had multiple copies of EVERYTHING I had sent to USCIS. We had to start over and recreate everything. We were told it could take years because of the new bans on US immigration. More phone calls, more visits to USCIS, more background checks, you name it we had more of them. My husband's green card arrived in the mail yesterday. 05/25/2018. 3 years 7 months and 18 days. The kicker to this story is that it expires in 20 days.

Yes, good luck with your journey. I always wondered where does all the money go and how many hands can actually be in this pot called USCIS? To answer my own question, Too many people and the other question is none of my business lol.

Either way, I have made yet another appointment with them before the 20 days until it expires deadline.  Its going to be interesting to see what they have to say.
