Hi,

PD date is Feb/20/2018.

Completed biometrics on Mar/21/2018 in Chula Vista.

Status update. Biometrics review completed Apr/4/2018.

"user-defined" error on USCIS tracker started around Apr/19/2018, made an infopass appointment for Apr/28/2018. Went to the appointment was told the following, "your case is at the NBC currently and a notice to request an interview to be scheduled was sent to be printed Apr/18/2018. Usually when I see this status update you should get something in the mail over the next week or so followed by an interview within 30 days after that notice mailed."

Neither myself or the lawyer has received anything in the mail yet.

How about your case status?

Hi!

Went for an infopass last week as well and was told that my case is already sent to local office and will have to wait for the interview to be scheduled and no further information was mentioned by the IO.

She just said that it might take maximum 10 months for the interview.

IO said that my case was cleared at the NBC since March 21.

Can you please update me if you receive anything?

Hey, called again today no news. My file still has not been transferred to the local office.

Was told the glitch may not change for months and just need to wait.

I did book another infopass on the 21st,as there is no luck to talk to tier2 officer.

My case is still stuck with user defined error.

You are totally correct, I tried calling the call center again but the CS doesn’t want me to transfer to T2.

My husband has work and won’t be able to drop me on the 31st so i’m trying to reschedule.

Please update us after your infopass.

Hey,

So like the phone line and T2 officers. Its clear even the infopass people are overworked and worried, everyone is on edge. Made it clear we are in the new world.

She said my i-485 has passed all the checks but is still in chicago waiting to be picked to move to San Diego. She mentioned San Diego has 2months waiting list for interview currently so do not expect anything for 3-4 months. It is very clear they want to get the i485 through versus the old way of EAD first. But she said there is no room for interviews now so gotta wait.

For EAD, it is now 5months basically for everyone. She made a point that the greencard could come before the EAD now. Like that is basicaly their goal now.

Unfortunately I didnt apply for i-131 till 2 weeks so she was like yah that ne who knows.

its truly frustrating since consular processing and EAD approval are basically the same amount of time now. But this seems to be the new goals and process of USCIS.

Lastly, they made it pretty clear they are sick of people hassling or always trying to check on their case, just got to wait it out.
