I'm not going to worry about this anymore, US government isn't going to prevent me being with the woman I love, the woman I decided to be my life partner so I'm not going to worry. if ends up being denied, we will do the 130 route, I will go to the phils and get married there. then do 130 and if that fails I will look into selling my house and cars and moving to the phils, which is the last option. So I look at it as plan A , B and C

A = K1

B = 130 Spousal visa , stay in Philippines 30 days then back to USA for 60 , and keep doing that until 130 visa is/if issued

C = Migrate to Philippines.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not lose track of what is truly important.  I still believe that you are 100% OK.  Think about that.  I should be the most pessimistic here.  I was already denied.  They did their job.  I trust they will do that for you.  You are still very much alive and well.  If you check CEAC and it says "refused", then you start looking at other options.  Do not stress out on this (I know that is easier said than done).  Let them do their job.  When it comes back as clear all this stress will go away.  I am making a short trip in May and a couple week trip in June.  From there we will see what I can do with vacation time and funds (have you seen the flight costs lately!!!).  Nothing will keep Rose and I apart.  This is only making our relationship stronger.  Keep your head up and trust that they are doing their job and that all will be fine once they are done.

yep, I did a Travelocity search yesterday if we went 130 then I would meet her in manila instead of flying to Taiwan, like 2400!! round trip! that is higher than last summer. a few weeks ago it was 1300 , so not only plane ticket but travel exp, food, hotel, transits (taxi and such) so I think 5000 a pop every time. which means if I do 130 then go for 30 days, leave for 60 then do 30 again until interview. my fiancé says 4-5 months for 130 to process for Philippines so not sure if she is taking into account the noa1 to noa2 times if that even applies. read somewhere today that once you get married in Philippines you can go to the US embassy there and apply for the 130 directly there...not sure if that's true

I believe you have to follow the entire CR-1 process which includes sending the paperwork to USCIS first.  I do not believe there are any shortcuts and the current CR-1 processing time is between 10 and 14 months.  If you refile you are looking at about a year at the soonest before the visa will be issued, if approved.  I am not as familiar with the CR-1 but I have a lot of K-1 experience.  I have not (yet) ever heard mention of any shortcuts.  If you stay there 6 months you can attempt a DCF.  Those are generally quicker but you have to reside in the Philippines to file that.

I will also add that my lawyer said all his clients that got issued this 221g ended up getting approved....so hope he isn't lying

That's pretty much what I did with my then fiancé now wife. She was working in Qatar and went home on vacation to the Philippines where we spent 3 weeks together. We then talked it out and decided that it would be better for her to stay at home and work on us than to work, not mention she would have only had vacation once a year if she went back. So she stayed there and I sent money to her to cover everything. Where is your fiancé from if you don't mind me asking, like what island?

Now that is plan!  Yes AC and hot water!  Rose's place does not have a water heater but they make hot water on the stove when needed.  Staying together in the home is so wonderful.  I like some of the hotel stays but being together as a family is better than any hotel in the world.

That is why I believe they are double and triple checking the name hit.  Just let them do their job.  You will know soon enough.  I have a feeling that you will be approved after they do their research.

Ahhh ok. Hopefully everything goes good and she doesn't need to go back to the Philippines to stay. Best of luck to you both.

That is very close to Rose and the kids.  She is in Pateros but her Aunt has a place in Las Pinas that she spends time at too.  Tanza is 12 miles from Las Pinas and about 20 miles from Pateros.  In the scheme of things, that is very close.

It went to administrative processing before we even left the embassy. Refusal was a few days later.

Yes. We got a 221g and they kept the passports. It makes sense that Wanda got hers back. She is a foreigner there. She needs to always carry her passport. Rose and the kids are citizens so they were OK without them.
