Thank you.  I am overwhelmed because of the deadline for AJ.  I will go out of my way to try to compile proof as we go.  I will be fine once we get the wedding arranged.

For the wedding you can do civil at the city hall for maybe at least P3-5 thousand thats less than $100 dollars. I did not do fancy wedding at all and I'm not with any religion. Its all up to you :)

We have already talked to the Mayor of Pateros but we forgot to ask him about the Certificate for Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage.  If they accept the affidavit we are good.  The costs of the CR-1 is still cheaper than K-1 when you consider all the way to Green Card.  It is what it is and I will make that work.  I may have to make two trips to get the wedding arranged but I will do whatever I have to do.

At least one month off from work would do all just fine. I think $50 dollars ( maybe amount change? ) to submit for legal capacity to contract marriage and wait for 10 days " cool down " before getting married at the city hall with the mayor. Your fiancee needs to bring her cenomar if single or been married ( CEMAR ) plus PSA annulment. I brought my divorce decrees also but they didn't look at mine. Weird...

I am now planning on making 2 trips because of the amount of time off I can use.  A short trip for the CLCCM, Marriage consoling and license application.  I hope to do that in May.  Then I will go back with my kids in June or early July for the wedding where we can stay a few weeks.

I wish you the very best.  I have two derivatives (I guess that is the wrong term for the CR-1).  Do you have any suggestions that may help make this a little more streamlined than just sending in 3 petitions?  It seems like you were able to make it through the gauntlet, so to speak.

There is no streamlining for the I-130 in your case, you are required to file a petition for each person.    You are drifting off course and you haven't even completed the marriage ...

I've read horror stories where one petition gets lost and one of the children is left behind sine there is no tie between the three separate cases.  I guess we get married first then go on from there.

You are worrying about things that are totally out of your control, and HASN'T HAPPENED  ;) .   (remember make copies of each completed petition before mailing them off to USCIS)

Back away from all this petition stuff for awhile, clear your head, relax ..     plan your travels so you and Rose can get married.   Take a break.

Thank you Hank.  I am a bit overwhelmed right now.  Once we get word if the Pateros registrar excepts the affidavit of CLCCM I will book the tickets for trip 1.

Got off the phone with someone at the senators office and once I told her what happened and that they didn't ask for more documents, and the fact her broker wants to send her back to the phils at the end of may, soon as I said that the woman told me I need to immediately send you a consent form, sign and scan and email it back and then I will contact the consulate directly.

just did that so now I hope this gets resolved, I will also point out that my fiancé is Filipina , in Taiwan , and there was 2 other Filipinas for the K1 interview , all 3 got the 221g form while the Taiwanese girls were all approved, she said only 11 girls there for the k1 appointment. so this tells me the Filipinas were singled out.

I feel the same way.  They cannot keep us apart.  I think I will contact my Congressman too.  It can't hurt.

If they don't accept the affidavit then you simply get a CENOMAR from PSA
