Hello,

I just wanna ask if there anyone with similar case that received 221g after the interview and asking for a NBI Clearance with A.K.A as per Birth Certificate ( Name on BC and legal docs are different but already settled at PSA/NSO last 2014.

The embassy is quite clear on the AKA... it is required for ALL names used (since birth if you want a starting point),  doesn't matter that you had discrepancies resolved since 2014.

You want the visa?   Complete the AKA at NBI .. bring a copy of the 221g along.   Follow the instructions on the 221g.

I've already got one and delivered it to USEM last week . But yesterday ,  I've got a call from them telling that what I submitted was wrong . That I should followed the instructions from the email . The email stated that " NBI AKA for Addy XXX YYY "  but the format at the NBI is surename first before name . So I submitted "NBI AKA for YYYY Addy XXXX . I know its the same but Im so confused what's wrong . Is it the format of my NBI or my AKA should be ADDY XXXX  YYYYY not YYYY ADDY XXXX ?

Did you take a copy of the email 221g to NBI  and give it to them?

Follow the 211g instructions completely

They didn't give any instruction.  The msg in my email is

That is the instructions ... worded just as it is in the EMAIL ... an do bring a copy of that email to NBI    If you did that, then all I can say is someone at USEM does not have their thinking cap on.

I mean they didnt give more instructions. I was just thinking if they want my main name to be Addy and A.K.A is Addylin ..

No need for more, they want an NBI w/AKA exactly as noted in that  email

I already submitted that but they say its wrong :(

You entered the names in the exact order as shown in the 221g email?   Don't correct for what you assume should be last name, first name, middle name  just enter exactly as in the email    Just a suggestion.

YES!  We interviewed on Tuesday and the Filipino CO noticed that Rose's name was incorrect on Aira's birth certificate.  Just do EXACTLY as they request and you will be fine.  Do not change what they ask for.  Include the 221g email with the new NBI Cert.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.
