For us CFO visit #2 is on Monday.  I was previously married and I have an ex Filipina who turned out to be a scam artist and a habitual liar.  I suspect this is going to be attorney time, that's my guess...or go to Cebu.

Cebu sound like a great option

My wife has went three times and is being harassed. Still no certificate. I was previously married. First time she wanted my wife to get 2 different ID's. 2nd time she tried to convince my wife I was lying to her about me having more than one child. Can't remember what was the 3rd reason. We filed September 2017 and approvals from my group have been rolling in. The officer that she is dealing with at CFO, her husband just died and has been out of the office. No telling what she will be like when she returns.

Man, I had back up plan on my first CFO, Go to Singapore and book a US ticket from there.

I always used to have my nephew around with me if I am running around town without my wife so that I have a translator. Hope I don't get caught up with this.

All you have to do is look at the law.  It is a terrible law but it is the law.  All you have to do is be with an unrelated minor.  And being with a minor could include riding a taxi together, eating dinner, or walking in a park.    The law only asks if you were with a unrelated minor and if the answer is yes, you're in hot water for a long time.

Wouldn't work.  Can't get out of the Philippines with a U.S. visa in the passport without having the CFO sticker, no matter what country is your destination.

I bet you it would of worked.  She would of just went to Singapore only, and once there I would of gotten her ticket to USA.

I was going to have wife leave from Davao and go to Singapore, this was about 10 years ago back when we had PRISM or St. Marys to choose from.

The issue is they won't let her board out of PH if they see the K-1 visa in the passport w/o the CFO sticker. At least that's my understanding...as a means to prevent people from doing exact this.

That would fly about as well as an albatross with a short runway.

Correct,  but the Visa sticker is toward the middle of the PI passport.

And I wouldn't try it in Manila, go to a province airport like Davao

Plans were in the works if CFO was an issue. I feel pretty confident I could of made it happen if needed.

Back in the day there was a separate booth where they checked your passport before letting you access the gates, not like now with just the ticket agents checking .. doesn't matter what airport you used, anything leaving the country .. they check the passport .. others have had this "idea" .. along with installing booster jets on the albatross .. but that scared him so bad he crashed in flames.

There has actually been a report or two of people getting out of Philipines to USA without CFO, it's been years since I read a post. But I have seen it before.
