Do they ask a lots of person questions ?I am afraid my English is not good enough to answers, maybe hard to listen what they say,but the civil test is easier.I think so worried.

I was asked few personal questions.

Why don't you take some ESL classes?

The interview begins as soon as the IO gets you from the waiting area, generally with some small talk.  Then they either go through the application with you, confirming your answers or they ask civics questions and do the English test first.  I was asked a couple of general personal questions, but it was more small talk.  Good luck.

I keep telling my wife to make sure she understands the question before she gives an answer (her interview is scheduled for mid-April).  She has been reviewing as many sample interviews as possible, so that may help you as well.

Good Luck!

About two months from when she submitted the application.  She submitted in mid-January, did her biometrics in mid-February, got an email in early March about the interview being scheduled, and got the letter about five days later.

Good Luck!

Why not both?  They're sure to help in all aspects.

Watch tv and have USC ask you questions on what you heard.  Easy peasy.  The English isn't going anywhere so its best you learn a little each day.  Good luck :)

I am a retired ESL teacher, (teaching in Nevada was totally out of the question!!) I can offer some simple tips on capturing the language in spoken and written English.  Another simple tip would be to google 'youtube' videos and watch and learn about "learning america history primary students" or "learn english conversation: immigrants", with each you will get several leads to get you started.

Anything to help out my fellow immigrants :) :)
