Hi everyone,

My ead application was approved on March 13 but haven't heard anything yet regarding card production. System only says Approved.

Does anyone have an idea? I saw people waiting 60+ days to get the card when similar situation happens. While most people are lucky to get it in hand in 5-10 days. Should I worry? What are your thoughts? Thank you very much.

A little too early to worry

my stupid check from a state away takes almost 2 weeks to get to me

some of the time this is because of extra security the post office has to take to secure our mail after the postal attacks of poisonous letters

I would just wait for a little bit more. You have not even waited 10 business days. You're at business day 8 today. Wait until the end of next week to start to wonder. This still seems normal.

Thank you guys. That makes sense however I'm really anxious because it didn't say anything about "card production" or "card ordered" and most cases gets that notification almost instantly or in a day or two. And when that doesn't happen a nightmare of open-ended waiting starts again for some people. I'm just really worried that's gonna happen to me. But yeah what you said is the most reasonable thing to do. To wait a couple more weeks....

I was right to get suspicious, biometrics were missing.

I talked to a fantastic L2 officer. He made an expedited service request. Biometrics delivered from local office (they say local office does this occasionally) 1 week later. Card in production message appeared simultaneously.

Very relieved now, and waiting for card mailed message.
