Going through all my N400 form  for Interview on Wednesday and noticed that I put that my current spouse has been married 0 times. I must have misread the question thinking it said how many times has your spouse been previously married. Clearly I should have put 1 as he’s married to me. Is this going to be a problem?  I’m not filing based on my marriage to him, but    Included his details as my spouse and uploaded my marriage certificate. I’m getting stressed.

Don"t worry about it, I had put that I had been married Twice, I haven't, but my husband has, they go through the form with you to make sure it's all correct, they will correct it on We3dnesday!

Hello,

Question about Passport!

I have my oath ceremony on 23rd August Thursday at 1 PM.  By the time I finish my oath I think I cannot make it to the nearest passport agency in Detroit to apply expedited passport. They close by 2:30 PM.  My question is should I apply only in Detroit passport agency? or can I apply anywhere, there is a near by passport office in USPS post office where I live.

Thank you....

You can apply at any USPS office that has passport application services (not all of them do).  If you need an expedited passport, I would suggest taking a trip back to Detroit as you can apply and actually wait (about 1-2 hours) and your passport will be done.  If you do not want to wait, you should get it in about 4-5 days.  They also will not keep your naturalization certificate if you apply at the Detroit office within 30 days or so of your oath ceremony (based on my memory of my wife's ceremony) whereas if you apply at a post-office, they will keep your certificate to send in with the application.

Either way, but if you need it fast, the Detroit office is your best bet.  My co-worker's wife needed an expedited passport and he told me it took less than an hour to get it there.

Good Luck!

The Guy who interviewed me said to bring Passport pictures because the Passport office is right across the road!

If you have a morning oath, that will work, but your oath is at 1pm and the PP office closes around 2:30.  When my wife had her oath, there were 76 other folks taking it with her.  The ceremony did not actually start until around 1:50 pm, so there was no way to get the passport on the same day.

Congrats on having your oath scheduled!
