Hi there,

This is my first post. I've been checking the vj for a while but this is my first post.

We got the NOA2 on 8/17/07. We are still waiting for the NVC letter. I called them and they told me to wait!

For how long? Anyone with more luck?

waiting and waiting....

Didn't mean anyone should not post their political views.

Just that this gov reign is almost over.

We need to support each other right now.

Maybe support the others that are to come.

We can only hope that the next officials will make this right for them in the future.

The length of time for the petition approval and the attitude taken by the USCIS employees is unforgivable, but we as individuals can't change it. The best we can do is be patient and encourage each other. This forum is meant to encourage and get useful information as to the process of completing the Spousal and Fiance Visa.

I think it would be useful and helpful to all of us if we worked on being calm and encouraging. I have been waiting as most of you for a long time to be with my fiance. I have been in love with her since the day I met her in December of 2005. The waiting has been nearly unbearable, but it will all be worth it.

Just think of how much appreciation you will have for each other once you are together. Use this time apart to prepare mentally and physically. One advantage is you will have excellent communication. Good Luck!

Sorry if it bothered you. There is nothing political about fixing an unfair system. If we don't do anything nothing will happen....and status quo is certainly not an acceptable option. If we see something wrong it is our job to make it right...

I think everyone's timeline are having extra days added. We haven't heard of many approvals lately. Therefore, this means that the service centers are slower in their processing time than previously.

I can sense much frustration on this message board lately. I myself include.

What can we do? Seems we can't do anything and are hopeless, only thing to do is wait.

I have heard the phrase patience is a virtue, too bad I am not so virtuous.

I can see that everyone is anxious and frustrated and I am feeling the pain too. Some of my past posts have not been too pleasant so now I don't feel so alone. Let's just hang in there together in support of one another, and please...keep ragging on the USCIS cuz they truely deserve it!!! :protest::ranting::protest:

As of this morning there are 118 May NOA1s listed on the VJ K-1 Timeline that do not have a NOA2 yet...

I bring this up because it helps me understand I am not alone in my wait...

Maybe it will help others to know they are not alone in their frustration...

Our anxiety is doubled as she has to go to court 10/1 to get permission to bring her 10 year old son with her.

Her ex is a severe alcoholic and won't let him go.

He has control issues and is out of his mind believing that someday they will get back together.

Maybe this timing is just supposed to fall into place.

Uscis approves,

court approves,

and we all live happily ever after as a family.
