My K-1 packet was recieved at TSC 05/22/07 and sent to California to be processed. Received NOA-1 via snail mail. According to the website, nothing has been done with my packet since it was received 96 days ago. No touches or anything?! How much longer am I going to have to wait for something? Since my paperwork was received, the estimated processing times have changed 3 times and I am afraid they will change again before my papers are even looked at. With my luck, they will hold my paperwork for several more months and then spring an RFE on me, making the process even more unbearable!!!

Bundy

Bundy,

I think we are all in the same boat---check out the May filer threads...a few have been approved, but the majority of us are still waiting. I share the same NOA1 date as you--May 24--and it does border on the unbearable to have to wait for such a long time!! I did call my lawyer who is helping us through this process, and they are saying that I should have to wait no longer than 3 more weeks for the NOA2. So that is a little light at the end of the tunnel :) Hang in there...us May filers should all be getting some good news really soon!

I hope your lawyers info is factual cause my NOA1 date is three days after yours. I was also thinking that I would be approved by the end of the month. That would put me at at least 4 months since filing. Good luck to all of us

Well; I had hoped so too.....but who really knows. This Fri. would mark the end of his second guess-timate, so we'll see! BTW, after I emailed him last week on a separate issue, he delicately extended his guess to another 6 weeks. I don't buy that; that sounds like a "sorry but I'm not taking any chances on being wrong again" type line. I know he can't help it that USCIS is taking so much longer than they historically have been taking; but I can look at most VJ stats and guess that we'd have our NOA 2's within 6 more weeks!! Okay,,,,,going to take a chill pill..............

Hey guys I just had my GC interview and I think it didn't went so good first off my daughter started running around the officers office then me and my wife got the standard questions she didn't seperate us but i ran into a few problems maybe not quite a problem tell me what you think guys.

1 she said she needed proof of me attending college so i have to send a copy of my transcript but just to make sure its not enough i am going to send a copy of my SEVIS letter copies of my student work permits and my degree. "HOPE THATS SUFFICIENT"

2. Me and my wife been together for a long time 3 whole years of marriage but we were legally separated the end of last year we thought we had closed the case but i guess i worded the letter wrong and the case was still open probably might affect my case but i went to the court house as soon as we got back into town and dropped off a letter asking for the case to be closed she didn't ask for a copy of the judge decision mainly because she can get that on the county website but hey i am going to send that anyway.

Other than those issues she asked standard questions she was straight face and didn't really drop a hint but she did ask where i worked and kinda told me that "with you having two kids with your wife it seem to be ok and i just need the transcript within a month."

I am going to send those things on Friday should be there by Monday.

I hope having a short interview is not a bad thing because i am $#!T tired 2 hour to and from with my daughter screaming both ways wacko.gif .

Wish me luck guys and good luck to everyone who is in the process

How ridiculous. That would put us at about a five month total wait.. I think he is getting his info off the USCIS website. I am hoping for the end of this month.

IS VSC ALIVE?!?!!?!?!?!? :crying:

I think they are taking a 6 month coffee break, along with CSC!

Hang in there guys, just know that the amount of petition filers actually using this website is only a small sample of the true number of petitions filed and processed. I am sure that there are many being processed and approved, it is just not being reflected here on this website. Kind of like a rain storm, it will always be raining, just maybe not over your head, but somewhere it is raining.

Petitions are being processed, you just don't see the progress. Hundreds, maybe even thousands are not even aware of such a website as this, therefore you will not hear of the good news or touches they also receive. Good Luck, your time is near!!
