We just got notification of our appointment yesterday.  We are scheduled for June 4th.

Never mind about December, you were the one waiting since December to get an interview, ok good that brings hope that at least they are going in some order.

How were you waiting to get your case number they receive but file but one of the agent told me to wait at least seven weeks why would it take that long to just assign case number?

My husband received the letter from NVC on FEB 16 2018 indicating we were in queue for appointment in Tegucigalpa. Still waiting.....I have called NVC twice and they gave me the same information about having to wait until Embassy provides their available dates. Does the priority date give you a better chance of getting an appointment faster? Does anyone know?

If I'm not mistaken, priority dates do not matter with a IR-1/CR-1 Visa. Personally I find no rhyme or reason why they're taking so long. Our case closed Feb 6 and still waiting.
