Hello everyone,

I am really sorry for the too many question but please i need your help

my joint sponsor sent me 3 years of the IRS tax transcripts, He pays JOINTLY with his wife

1) for joint sponsor I864  part 6 "my current individual income",should i state the adjusted gross income found in the IRS tax transcript, but this is the income of him and his wife because they file together, and they are asking about the INDIVIDUAL income.

2) joint sponsor I864  part 6 19a : should i put the total income or the adjusted gross income ? "he files form 1040"

3) i864A part 3 #2 "My current individual annual income" , should i mention the number found in the tax transcripts which is her and the joint sponsor income togrther,or  should i ask her to tell me her individual income ?

THANK YOU SO MUCH !!

 1.   current income is what you are making now at your job it may or not be the same as what is on your tax return(usually it is not) due to factors not figure in such as bonus sick days  overtime  etc to figure total income depending on how you are paid. hourly  = 40 x pay per hour x 52(weeks in year) = current income , salary weekly = weekly gross pay x 52, monthly =monthly gross pay x12  = current income

you are required to send in proof of current income  such as check stubs

2 .1040 it is total income

3. again current income is what a person is making now not what is on their tax return

a lot of people confuse current income question with tax information questions.

you are to send in  proof of current income such as paycheck stubs and current tax transcript

a little correction to the first answer. current income  hourly pay is   hours work per week  (usually 40 ) x pay per hours x 52

bonus  and overtime is not included as that is not consider regular income
