My Fiance lives in Colombia and I live in Utah. I am 21 years old and she is 22. I’m currently don’t have a job and I don’t know what to put for current employment on form I-129F.

I'm currently in school full time studying Computer Science. I have a full ride scholarship and a $2000 scholarship from a deceased relative who left money in their will, so I get a full ride plus 2000 dollars to pay for any other college expense like housing every semester. Right now, I'm taking lots of credits to take advantage of my scholarship, so I am not working. Also, currently I am living at home, so I don't have much expenses.

Obviously we will get our own place when she gets here. I graduate in about a year and a half.  For that year or so till I graduate, I plan on living off the money I will make over the summer, whatever job she may have (she speaks English pretty well, so I assume she could get an alright job) and the scholarship money. And if needs be, I could also get a job, a loan, or we could possibly live with my parents if all fails. And then after I graduate I’ll hopefully be able to get a full-time decent paying job. So we will be able to support ourselves and won’t need government assistance. Also, my parents will be willing to put their names down as cosponsor if a steady income will be required.

As far as the form goes, when it asks for current employment, should I leave it empty? Should I put "Student". Or should I quickly get a job just so I have something to put on the Form? What is my best and quickest option?

Hello, were you able to get an answer to this question?
I'm in a similar situation. I'm also wondering what the outcome would be if I quickly get a job and then quickly apply for the petition.
If anyone could give us an answer that would be great!

I'm sorry for not replying you. At that time, I wasn't active on VJ.

To benefit @yebyaew, Tom Smith will put his occupation as Student. It will only affect his I-130 Affidavit of Support, it will not affect his I-129F or his fiancée's visa application as long as he can prove that she will not be a financial burden.

If you do NOT have sufficient current income above the poverty line the likelihood of the visa being approved will be limited or nil.  Scholarship money is NOT current income nor is a loan is considered income.

Arriving on a K-1 your fiance will not likely work for about 4 months after you apply for adjustment of status because they are not authorized to work upon entry.

YMMV

You do not need to worry about the I-134 until the visa interview.  Zero effect on the petition

You can put your employment as "student." I'm in a similar situation as a full time graduate student and that's what I put, but I also had other jobs I had to put on the form. It won't have any affect on your approval but you WILL need a cosponsor for your affidavit of support during the Interview process as @payxibka said, scholarship money doesn't count towards your income because it isn't money you are earning and/or have readily available, as it's spent on tuition and other expenses. Just as I couldn't put my student loans as income on my form.

This is pretty false, don't worry. Your parents' co-sponsoring is fine. If the beneficiary has funds, she should bring her statements to the interview.

Not false.  The OP never indicated a co-sponsor where did that come from?  .  In addition, not all Embassies accept co-sponsors so this is a location specific answer.  Secondly, almost no or maybe just few Embassies allow the beneficiary to self qualify.

YMMV

This is exactly my case. I am the beneficiary and I don't know what to do. My Fiance still have a year in school. His parents and my uncle who is living in the US is willing to cosponsor. IF cosponsoring is allowed. I can't find anywhere in the USCIS or NVC website that they allow this cosponsor thing. All I read there is it should be my fiance.
